Creamy Adobo Dip

Hello, and welcome back to another blog post and recipe! i'm so excited to have you back. And I hope you are all enjoying the beginning of fall.

I figured that football season is a good time to share my dips with you, and I don't believe I've ever shared this one. This is a favorite of my husband's, and I think it's pretty swell myself. So no matter who you're rooting for this will be perfect for your game day parties or your game day alone. You all know by now, that I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, and I will let it slide if you aren't! 🦅

Let's get into this easy but delicious recipe, ready?

You will need...
2-3 chilis in adobo (4-5 if you want it hotter)
1 tsp of the adobo sauce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded
Green onion or chives for garnish (optional)

In a food processor place chilis, and give them a whirl until mostly smooth.  Add in sour cream, mayonnaise, onion powder, garlic powder, and cumin.  Let it go for a minute or 2 until combined.

Pour into a bowl, add in shredded cheese and stir.  Refrigerate for AT LEAST an hour before serving and serve with tortilla chips!

Garnish with chives or green onions before serving if you like!

Enjoy!
